Blink Foresight Card - Terms and Conditions

Please note: These terms and conditions are specifically for Blink Foresight Card clients and do not apply to Blink clients who are flying on Blink Taxi Fares, Sale Fares, Special Offers/Packages, Empty Leg Deals, or who are travelling on a Blink Shuttle.

Contract Terms & Conditions

The Blink Foresight Card (The Card) is valid for a minimum of 12 months from the commencement date of the contract. The contract term is a minimum of 12 months and will continue until terminated. Up to 10% of unused hours at the end of the 12-month period may be rolled over into a subsequent Foresight Card contract, subject to annual inflation cost adjustments. If the Card is not renewed, any remaining hours shall be forfeited.

Flight Hour Calculations

The total billable hours of a flight will be calculated based upon an aircraft originating and terminating at a designated Blink Hub. Taxi time is not chargeable. All flights are subject to a minimum two hour daily utilisation and 30 minute minimum sector time. Total billable hours will be notified in advance of the flight and will be used to calculate the flight cost. The flight time will based upon average flight times and will not vary on a trip by trip basis.

Blink Hubs

Currently, Blink maintains Blink Hubs in London Blackbushe and Geneva. In the future, Blink may open other Blink Hubs across Europe. The total flight hours will be calculated based upon an aircraft starting and finishing at its designated Blink Hub.

Flights

Flights will be priced at £1,550 (€1,900) per flight hour inclusive of all ancillary charges except for high density airports listed in Appendix 1 (High density airport charges).

Flights originating at a Blink Hub

In this case, the total flight hours will be calculated based upon an aircraft starting and finishing at its designated Blink Hub. For example, a one-way and day return flight between London Blackbushe and Nice would be calculated by taking the flight time from Blackbushe to Nice and Nice to Blackbushe. The total flight time would be charged at £1,550 (€1,900) per flight hour.

Flights not originating at or ending at a Blink Hub

In this case, the total flight hours will be calculated based upon an aircraft starting and finishing at its designated Blink Hub. For example, a one-way trip from Paris to Zurich would be calculated by taking the flight time from Geneva to Paris Le Bourget, Paris Le Bourget to Zurich, and Zurich back to Geneva. The total flight time would be charged at £1,550 (€1,900) per flight hour.

Day returns

For a round day trip flight there will be a 20% premium to the hourly charge.

Overnights

Blink classifies a 1 night overnight stay as a “Simple Overnight.” For a round trip flight that is a Simple Overnight, there will be a 45% premium to the hourly charge. A stay of more than one night will be classified as two one-way fares.

Ancillary costs

The price of the Card includes landing and handling charges and overnight crew expense. De-icing, supplemental catering, or other non-flight specific costs such as ground transportation and hotel bookings will be billed on an as-incurred basis. VAT is chargeable on internal UK flights. De-icing, when applicable, will be charged at cost in arrears. Upon request, Blink will provide a copy of the de-icing invoice.

Blink will provide a Flight Confirmation in advance for each flight which will list all charges related to the specific flight. Blink will also provide an account summary monthly and on request.

Other Terms

Boardroom in the SkyTM onboard service

Blink offers light refreshments that are akin to a Boardroom in the Sky. We serve Fairtrade coffee, Fairtrade tea, and bottled water. There is Coca Cola, Diet Coke and a rotating selection of fruit juices, international beer, and white and red wine. Blink also serves vegetable crisps, a mixed variety of premium nuts, Japanese crackers, and biscuits. Should you wish for additional catering, we will be happy to provide this for you at a small supplemental charge.

Guaranteed availability

Bookings are accepted on a first-come, first-served basis. Flights are guaranteed as soon as the flight has been accepted and confirmed. In the event of a Blink aircraft being unavailable after the confirmation is received, a suitable substitute will be provided. Until Blink confirms a flight, there is no guarantee of aircraft availability. If your requested route is not available, alternatives will be offered.

Schedule changes

Same day schedule changes will be permitted subject to available capacity at no cost provided that a minimum of 24 hours advance notice is provided. If the change incurs any additional costs, Blink will use its best efforts to notify you in advance of such costs.

Cancellation fees

There will be no flight cancellation fees except as follows:
1) 72 – 24 hours before flight time – 50% of fare.
2) Less than 24 hours before flight time – 100% of fare.

Waiting fees

Blink reserves the right to assess a waiting fee should a flight be delayed without notice as a result of waiting for a passenger. In addition, Blink shall have the right to remove the waiting aircraft after one hour if advance notice of a delay has not been given. In this case, the account shall be charged the hours for the scheduled flight or to return the aircraft to its designated Blink Hub, whichever is the greater.

Period:

  • 0-45 minutes - Free
  • 45-60 minutes - £600 / €720
  • Over 60 minutes - £1,000 per hour, €1,200 per hour or part thereof

NOTE: Should Blink incur additional airport or crew costs as a result of an unadvised waiting period, Blink will use its best efforts to notify you in advance of such costs.

Luggage Capacity & Weight Restrictions

Baggage is limited aboard the Blink Mustang both in size and volume. Dimensions of luggage should not exceed: 400mm x 550mm x 1300mm, approximately 15.75 x 21.5 x 51 inches. There is room for skis and golf clubs in the rear luggage compartment.

There may be times during the year when strong winds may limit the available payload on longer routes.

Fuel price adjustment

Should Blink have to adjust the base hourly rate due to fuel price increases, then your remaining hourly balance will be adjusted accordingly for the remainder of the contract.

Account details

Payment Terms

The Card requires a prepayment of the full Card value.

Ancillary costs deposit

Blink provides two options to cover the non-flight specific costs such as high density airport supplements, de-icing, supplemental catering, or other non-flight specific costs such as ground transportation and hotel bookings. 1) The Card holder may place a deposit on account in the value to £5,000 to cover the projected additional costs. 2) The Card holder may pay by credit card, subject to a 3% credit card fee for Visa/Mastercard and 3.5% for American Express.

Any unused deposit will be rolled forward when the contract is renewed. If the contract is not renewed, Blink will refund the outstanding deposit balance.

Termination

Either party may exit the contract at anytime on or after the last day of the contract year. If the Contracting Party wishes to terminate the contract before the twelve months is over, then all remaining hours are forfeited. The terminating party must give written 90 days notice of the exit and must state the termination date. Upon termination, Blink will refund any Ancillary costs deposit having reconciled the balance against any flights taken. Termination will be without prejudice to any rights or obligations to which either party is entitled.
